The Tennessee Titans announced Thursday that they’ve placed OLB Derrick Morgan on season-ending injured reserve.
Previous reports had said that Morgan was out for the season, so this shouldn’t come as a big surprise.
Morgan, 26, is in the first year of his four-year, $27 million contract that includes $10.5 million guaranteed. He’ll make a base salary of $2.5 million this season and another $4.5 million next year.
This season, Morgan appeared in 10 games and recorded 24 tackles, 4.5 sacks, a forced fumble and two pass defenses for the Titans.
