Titans Place TE Craig Stevens On Reserve/Retired List

The Tennessee Titans officially placed veteran TE Craig Stevens on the reserve/retired list Thursday.

This means that the Titans will owe his rights if he elects to come out of retirement at some point.

Stevens officially announced his retirement earlier in the week, citing concerns about his long-term health.

Stevens, 31, is a former third-round pick of the Titans back in 2008. He spent all eight years of his career with the Titans and had agreed to a one-year, $2 million contract with the team back in February .

In total, Stevens caught 60 passes for 724 yards receiving (12.1 YPC) to go along iwth six touchdowns over the course of 109 games. Pro Football Focus had him rated as the No. 5 tight end out of 73 qualifying players last year.
