Titans QB Jake Locker (Questionable) Appears Unlikely To Play In Week 4

Titans HC Ken Whisenhunt told reporters that QB Jake Locker will have to progress physically on Saturday without any setbacks to have chance to play against the Colts this weekend, per Terry McCormick.

Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean mentions that the Titans have officially listed Locker as questionable for Week 4, but he’s getting the feeling that Locker is closer to doubtful or out.

Locker suffered a wrist injury during Week 3’s loss to the Bengals and underwent an MRI on Monday. Locker has barely practiced this week, so it will be interesting to see if he’s able to go on Sunday.

Whisenhunt said that he has confidence in backup Charlie Whitehurst in the even that Locker is unable to play.

Locker finished the game 17-of-34 for 185 yards, no touchdowns, and two interceptions.

We’ll have more regarding Locker’s status leading up to kickoff this weekend.
