ESPN’s Adam Caplan reports that the Titans are still interested in free agent OT Joe Barksdale.
- However, the Rams are also interested in re-signing Barksdale, according to Caplan.
Barksdale is, arguably, the best available offensive tackle remaining in the free agent market. Although, it appears as though teams aren’t as interested in him as many thought in the weeks leading up to the start of free agency.
The Titans released veteran OT Michael Oher earlier in the offeason and long-time LT Michael Roos elected to retire, so there’s no question that they could use another offensive tackle.
Barksdale, 27, Barksdale appeared in all 16 games for the Rams in 2014 and played a total of 1031 snaps. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 48 offensive tackle out of 84 qualifying players.
