Titans Re-Sign CB Demontre Hurst

The Tennessee Titans announced Monday that they’ve signed CB Demontre Hurst to a futures contract for the 2018 season.

Hurst, 26, wound up going undrafted out of Oklahoma back in 2013 before signing on with the Bears. Hurst was unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason but has been on and off of their practice squad the past three seasons.

Hurst was in the final year of his two-year, $1.110 million contract when the Bears waived him coming out of the preseason. He was on and off of their active roster in 2016.

Hurts signed a one-year, $690,000 contract with the Titans this last April. However, he was released coming out of the preseason before returning to the Titans later on in the season.

In 2016, Hurst appeared in 10 games for the Bears and recorded 14 tackles, one sack, an interception and two pass defenses.
