Titans Re-Sign TE Phillip Supernaw

The Titans announced Friday that they’ve agreed to a multi-year deal with TE Phillip Supernaw.

The Titans did not tender Supernaw a restricted offer, but it appears they were able to re-sign him to a lower salary in the end.

Supernaw, 27, originally signed on with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of Ouachita Baptist back in 2012. He spent two years with Houston before he was placed on waivers this past May.

Baltimore later signed him to their practice squad after they made their final roster cuts in 2015. The Chiefs later signed him to their active roster, but wound up waiving him just a few weeks later. Supernaw returned to the Ravens before eventually joining the Titans in 2015.

In 2016, Supernaw appeared in 15 games for the Titans and caught four passes for 62 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
