Titans Sign TE Chase Coffman & RB David Fluellen

Update:

The Tennessee Titans announced the signing of TE Chase Coffman and RB David Fluellen on Wednesday.

Fluellen, 23, originally signed on with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of Toledo back in May of last year. He lasted a few months in Philadelphia before the Eagles traded him to the Colts in return for K Cody Parkey. Indianapolis cut Fluellen just a few weeks later.

Fluellen has yet to appear in an NFL game.

Rand Getlin of NFL Media reports that the Titans are re-signing TE Chase Coffman to a contract on Wednesday.

The only reported interest for Coffman since free agency opened several months ago was a workout with the Saints. However, the team didn’t extend him a contract offer following the workout.

Coffman, 28, is a former third-round pick of the Bengals. He lasted a little over three years in Cincinnati before he later caught on with Falcons in 2012.

Coffman spent two years with the Falcons before he later signed on with the Titans as an unrestricted free agent in August of last year.

In 2014, Coffman appeared in 13 games and recorded six receptions for 64 yards receiving and one touchdown for the Titans.
