Titans Sign 6 Draft Picks Including Second-Round RB Derrick Henry

The Tennessee Titans announced Monday that they’ve agreed to terms with six of their 10 draft picks including second-round RB Derrick Henry.

The other rookies signed to contracts include: DL Austin Johnson (2nd round), WR Tajae Sharpe (5th round), CB LeShaun Sims (5th round), LB Aaron Wallace (7th round) and CB Kalan Reed (7th round).

Henry, 21, was taken with the No. 45 overall pick by the Titans a few weeks ago. It was an interesting pick, considering that the Titans traded for DeMarco Murray earlier in the offseason.

According to OverTheCap.com, Henry receives a four-year contract worth $5,407,930 to go along with a signing bonus of $2,133,040.

During his three-year college career at Alabama, Henry ran for 3,591 yards on 602 carries (6 YPC) to go along with 17 receptions for 285 yards receiving and 45 total touchdowns. Last year, he earned the Heisman Trophy.
