Titans Sign CB Jeremiah McKinnon To Practice Squad, Cut DB Cody Riggs

The Tennessee Titans announced Tuesday that they’ve signed CB Jeremiah McKinnon to their practice squad and waived DB Cody Riggs from the unit.

The Titans’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. CB Kalan Reed
  2. TE Jerome Cunningham
  3. LB Justin Staples
  4. OT Tyler Marz
  5. DE Mehdi Abdesmad
  6. QB Alex Tanney
  7. G Karim Barton
  8. NT Antwaun Woods
  9. WR Jonathan Krause
  10. CB  Jeremiah McKinnon

McKinnon, 23, wound up going undrafted out of Florida International back in May before signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Cowboys. He was set to make a base salary of $450,000 for the 2016 season when he was waived with the injury designation.

After reverting to the Cowboys injured reserve list, Dallas later waived him with a settlement back in September.

The Panthers brought McKinnon in for a workout last week but did not sign him to a contract. He has yet to appear during an NFL game.

During his four-year college career, McKinnon recorded 104 tackles, a half sack, five interceptions with one being returned for a touchdown, 14 pass defenses, four forced fumbles and two pass defenses.
