Titans Sign DL Julius Warmsley To Practice Squad, Release QB Tyler Ferguson

The Tennessee Titans have signed DL Julius Warmsley to their practice squad on Tuesday, according to his agency DEC Management. The Titans also released QB Tyler Ferguson, according to his agent Brett Tesler.

The Titans’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. NT Antwaun Woods
  2. RB Khalfani Muhammad
  3. S Denzel Johnson
  4. TE Tim Semisch
  5. OL Cody Wichmann
  6. OT Brad Seaton
  7. WR Zach Pascal
  8. WR C.J. Board
  9. LB Josh Carraway
  10. DL Julius Warmsley

Warmsley, 27, originally signed on with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of Tulane back in 2014. He lasted just a few months in Houston before signing on to the Seahawks’ practice squad coming out of the preseason.

Warmsley returned to the Seahawks on a future/reserve contract in 2015 but was on and off of their practice squad for most of the season. The Dolphins eventually added him to their practice squad before re-signing him to a future’s deal last year. Unfortunately, the Dolphins waived him last October and later signed him to their practice squad.

Warmsley was among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason a few months ago.

In 2016, Warmsley appeared in five games and recorded eight tackles and no sacks for the Dolphins.
