The Tennessee Titans announced Tuesday that they’ve signed DT Caushaud Lyons to a future/reserve contract.

Lyons becomes the 10th player to sign a futures deal with the Titans since their season ended a few weeks ago. The full list includes:

  1. WR Jonathan Krause (NFLTR)
  2. OL Karim Barton
  3. LB Kourtnei Brown
  4. TE Jerome Cunningham
  5. RB David Fluellen
  6. T Tyler Marz
  7. WR K.J Maye
  8. TE Tim Semisch
  9. DB Tye Smith
  10. DT Caushaud Lyons

Future/reserve contracts are essentially an opportunity for players compete for a roster spot in offseason workouts and during training camp.

Lyons, 24, originally signed on with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of Tusculum back in 2015. He lasted just a few months in Tampa Bay before he was waived and later claimed off of waivers by the Steelers.

Lyons spent the 2016 season on the Steelers’ practice squad.

Lyons has yet to appear in an NFL game.
