Titans Sign Former Panthers OT Byron Bell

The Tennessee Titans announced the signing of former Panthers OT Byron Bell on Wednesday.

  • Jim Wyatt reports that Bell receives a one-year contract worth $1.5 million from the Titans.

Tennessee brought Bell in for a workout a few weeks ago, so he was clearly on their radar. Bell also found interest from the Chiefs.

Bell, 26, signed on with the Panthers as an undrafted free agent out of New Mexico back in 2011. He finished out his rookie contract before receiving a second-round tender from the Panthers worth $2.187 million last year.

In 2014, Bell appeared in 15 games for the Panthers and was rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 83 offensive tackle out of 84 qualifying players.
