Titans Sign GM Jon Robinson To Extension Through 2022

Titans owner Amy Adams Strunk tells Paul Kuharsky at the owners meeting in Orlando that they’ve signed GM Jon Robinson to a contract extension that will tie him to new HC Mike Vrabel through the 2022 season.

“I’ve put them on schedule,” Strunk told Kuharsky.

Robinson’s contract was set to expire after the 2019 draft, so it makes sense that the Titans would want to keep the two of them aligned with one another.

Robinson, 42, began working for the Patriots as an area scout back in 2002. He managed to work his way up to director of college scouting before departing in 2013 to become the Buccaneers’ director of player personnel.

After four years in Tampa Bay, the Titans hired him as their GM for the 2016 season.

During his two years in Tennessee, the Titans have produced a record of 18-14, which includes one playoff appearance and a win over the Chiefs last season.
