The Tennessee Titans announced that they’ve signed QB Alex Tanney to their practice squad on Tuesday waived OL Ronald Patrick from the unit.

The Titans’ practice squad now consists of:

  5. OT Tyler Marz
  6. QB Alex Tanney

Tanney, 28, originally signed on with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent out of Monmouth back in 2012. Since then, he’s had brief stints with the Cowboys, Browns and Buccaneers, Titans, Bills and Colts before being signed to the Titans’ active roster at end of last year.

He was set to make a base salary of $525,000 for the 2016 season when the Titans cut him loose on Monday.

In 2015, Tanney appeared in one game for the Titans and completed 10 of 14 pass attempts for 99 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions.
