The Tennessee Titans announced Monday that they’ve signed rookie OL Mark Spelman to a contract and placed G/C Karim Barton on waivers.
Spelman, 23, wound up going undrafted out of Illinois State over a month ago. He took part in the Bears minicamp on a tryout basis but wasn’t signed to a contract, so this will be his first opportunity with an NFL team.
During his four-year college career, Spelman appeared in 45 games and earned All-MVFC First-Team honors as a Senior for the second-consecutive season.
