Titans Sign Third-Round S Kevin Byard, Lock Up 2016 Draft Class

The Tennessee Titans signed third-round S Kevin Byard to a four-year contract, according to Ian Rapoport

The Titans have now officially locked up their entire 2016 draft class following this move.

Byard, 22, was selected with the No. 64 overall pick by the Titans over a month ago. Byard still managed to get drafted pretty high, despite not receiving an invite to the Scouting Combine. He offers length and good ball skills, and should give the Titans an intriguing prospect to develop in their secondary over the next few years.

According to OverTheCap.com, Byard receives a four-year contract worth $3,237,060 to go along with a signing bonus of $897,060.

During his college career at Middle Tennessee State, Byard recorded 318 tackles, six tackles for a loss, 19 interceptions with two being returned for touchdowns, three forced fumbles, one recovery and 15 pass defenses.
