Titans Signing DT Sylvester Williams To Three-Year Deal

Peter Schrager is reporting that the Titans and DL Sylvester Williams have agreed to terms on a three-year contract.

The Broncos reportedly has some interest in bringing Williams back, but they planned to see what else was out there for them.

The defensive tackle market is actually pretty deep this year, so it will be interesting to see what kind of contract Williams gets from Tennessee.

Williams, 28, was taken with the No. 28 overall pick back in 2013. He’ played out the final year of his four-year, $7.6 million rookie contract but the Broncos elected to not pick up his fifth-year option last year.

In 2016, Williams appeared in all 16 games for the Broncos and recorded 29 tackles, one sack and a pass defense. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 98 interior defender out of 127 qualifying players.

We had him featured in our Top 50 Available Free Agents list.
