Titans Signing LB Sean Spence To A One-Year, $2.5M Deal

The Tennessee Titans announced Wednesday that they’ve agreed to terms with LB Sean Spence.

  • Pro Football Talk reports that Spence receives a one-year, $2.5 million deal from Tennessee.

Spence visited with three teams since the market opened including the Titans, Dolphins and Jaguars on Tuesday. However, it appears as though the Titans were motivated to get a deal done with him.

Spence, 25, is a former third-round pick of the Steelers back in 2012. He unfortunately sustained a serious knee injury early on his NFL career that wound up preventing him from appearing in a game until the 2014 season.

However, Spence was able to return and surprising play a full season for the Steelers that year. Spence is now testing the open market for the first time as an unrestricted free agent.

Last year, Spence appeared in 15 games for the Steelers and recorded 37 tackles and a sack.
