Titans Signing OLB Quentin Groves

Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reports that the Titans are signing veteran OLB Quentin Groves to a contract.

Tennessee has a number of options at outside linebacker including Derrick Morgan, Kamerion Wimbley, Akeem Ayers and Shaun Phillips, but Groves has spent time working with DC Ray Horton in the past.

Groves, 30, spent the 2013 season with the Browns, before being released in early June. However, he was limited to playing in just five games due to an ankle injury that led to the Browns placing him on season-ending injury reserve.

He later caught on with the Texans, but was released this past weekend as they trimmed their roster to 53 players.

Last year, he recorded four tackles, two sacks and a forced fumble over the course of those four games.
