Titans Waive NT Antwaun Woods With Injury Designation

The Tennessee Titans officially placed NT Antwaun Woods on waivers Thursday with an injury designation.

Should Woods clear waivers tomorrow, he would revert to the Titans’ injured serve list.

Woods, 25, wound up signing on with the Titans as an undrafted free agent out of USC back in 2016. He was unfortunately among their roster cuts coming out of the preseason during his rookie season before later being signed to the Titans’ practice squad soon after.

Since then, Woods has been on and off of the Titans’ practice squad over his first two years in the NFL. Tennessee brought Woods back on a futures contract this past January.

In 2016, Woods appeared in one game and recorded three tackles and no sacks.

During his college career at USC, Woods recorded 111 tackles, 13.5 sacks, a fumble recovery and two pass defenses.
