Titans Waive OLB Yannik Cudjoe-Virgil & WR Nick Harwell

The Tennessee Titans announced that they’ve waived OLB Yannik Cudjoe-Virgil with the injury designation and cut WR Nick Harwell.

Terry McCormick reports that the Titans won’t place Cudjoe-Virgil on injured reserve once he clears waivers.

Cudjoe-Virgil, 23, wound up signing on with the Titans as an undrafted free agent out of Maryland last year. He was waived with the injury designation at the start of the season, but was later added to their practice squad.

He stands to make a base salary of $450,000 for the 2016 season.

In 2015, Cudjoe-Virgil came to an end with him being placed on injured reserve after appearing in two games without recording a statistic.

Harwell, 25, originally signed on with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of Kansas back in May of last year. He was unable to make the 53-man roster, but later caught on to the Titans’ practice squad before returning on a future/reserve contract in January.

Harwell has yet to appear in an NFL game.
