The Tennessee Titans announced that they’ve signed DB Darrius Sims to a contract and waived DE Kourtnei Brown with an injury designation.
Brown, 29, originally signed on with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent out of Clemson back in 2012. Since then, Brown has played for a number of teams including the Redskins, Bills, Lions, Rams, Texans and Buccaneers.
Brown was waived by the Buccaneers coming out of the preseason last year and later signed on to their practice squad before eventually joining the Titans toward the end of the season. Tennessee brought Brown back on a future/reserve contract this past January.
In 2015, Brown appeared in five games and recorded two tackles.
