Titans Waiving Former 2nd-Rd WR Justin Hunter

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Titans are placing former second-round WR Justin Hunter on waivers, as they cut their roster down to 53 players.

Hunter, 25, was taken with the No. 34 overall pick by the Titans back in 2013. He’s in the final year of his four-year, $5.424 million rookie contract and set to make a base salary of $1,144,656 in 2016.

In 2015, Hunter appeared in nine games for the Titans and caught 22 passes for 264 yards receiving and a single touchdown.
