Titans Will Start Matt Hasselback Again On Thurday, Javon Ringer Out 4-6 Weeks

Jim Wyatt of the Nashville Tennessean reports that Matt Hasselback will get another start in Week 6 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Jake Locker will miss his second straight game because of a shoulder injury, but the Titans clearly struggled in his absence last week. This decision Hasselback gets an even harder test this weekend, but Titans head coach Mike Munchak seemed to be somewhat optimistic that Locker could return in Week 7.

In other Titans news, Jim Wyatt also reports that RB Javon Ringer is expected to miss 4-6 weeks because of an MCL injury.

Tennessee’s running game is absolutely atrocious this season, so losing a running back for a period of time can’t help them any. It’s going to be hard for them to remain competitive against the Steelers.
