Titans Worked Out 5 Players Incuding WR Corey Washington & RB Brandon Burks

The Tennessee Titans worked out five players including WR Marcus Johnson, WR Jordan Leslie, WR Corey WashingtonRB Brandon Burks and FB Chris Swain on Tuesday.

Washington, 24, originally signed on with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out of Newberry back in May of 2014. He lasted just a few weeks with the Cardinals before he was waived and later claimed by the Giants.

After a year in New York, Washington had brief stints with the Redskins and Lions before signing on with the Falcons back in July. Unfortunately, he was among the Falcons’ final roster cuts a few weeks ago.

In 2014, Washington appeared in 14 games for the Giants and caught five passes for 52 yards receiving and a touchdown.

Burks, 22, wound up going undrafted out of Troy before signing three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Packers. It appeared as though Burks was going to be the Packers’ No. 3 running back before they elected to waive him during their final roster cuts.

During his four-year college career at Troy, Burks recorded 430 carries for 2,253 yards (5.2 YPC) and 12 rushing touchdowns. He also accumulated 88 receptions for 673 yards receiving (7.6) and three touchdowns.

Swain, 23, is an undrafted free agent out of Navy that signed on with the Chargers this offseason. However, San Diego ended up waiving him as they trimmed their roster down to the 53-man limit.
