Titans WR Andrew Turzilli Suspended 4 Games For PED Violation

The NFL announced Friday that Titans WR Andrew Turzilli has been suspended four games for violating their policy against performance-enhancing drugs.

Turzilli, 24, wound up signing on with the Titans as an undrafted free agent out of Rutgers back in May of last year. He was waived at the start of the season, but later signed on to the 49ers’ practice squad.

Tennessee later brought him back when they signed him off of the 49ers’ taxi squad in November.

He stands to make a base salary of $525,000 for the 2016 season before becoming an exclusive rights free agent in 2017.

Last year, Turzilli appeared in three games and recorded two receptions for 25 yards receiving and no touchdowns for the Titans.
