Titus Young Arrested Twice Within A 15 Hour Span

Paula Pasche of the Oakland Press reports that former Lions WR Titus Young was arrested twice in hours last Sunday.

Young’s first arrest was for suspicion of driving under the influence after he made an illegal left turn in front of a patrol car at 12:01 a.m Sunday. He was issued a citation and later released.

At 2:22 p.m. that afternoon, police were alerted that a man was seen jumping a fence at a tow yard. It was determined that Young was attempting to take his black mustang from the tow yard, so he was once again booked at the same detention center.

Young was released by the Lions back in February, but managed to get claimed by the Rams. His stint in St. Louis lasted just a few days after the team decided to go in a different direction. Young’s judgement has been called into question numerous times, but incidents such as this make it all the more likely that he’ll never play another snap in the NFL.
