According to Jeremy Fowler, former Buccaneers OC Todd Monken is scheduled to interview for the Packers, Lions and Browns‘ offensive coordinator vacancies in the coming days.
The Jaguars have also come up as a team with interest in Monken, so he’s clearly an in-demand coach right now.
Monken actually interviewed for the Jets, Packers and Bengals head-coaching jobs in recent weeks.
Monken, 52, began his coaching career back in 1989 as an assistant at Grand Valley State. His first NFL coaching job came with the Jaguars in 2007 as their WRs coach.
After a few years at Oklahoma State, Monken was hired as Southern Miss’ head coach for the 2013 season. He spent three years in the position before joining the Buccaneers as their offensive coordinator in 2016.
In 2018, the Buccaneers ranked No. 3 in total yards, No. 12 in points scored, No. 29 in rushing yards and No. 3 in passing yards.
