Cowboys QB Tony Romo was forced from Sunday’s game after he suffered what appeared to be an injury to his left shoulder/collarbone.

Romo was immediately taken to the locker room for X-rays, which implies that this could be a potentially serious injury for the Cowboys’ quarterback.

Erin Andrews reports that Romo believed he had broken something while walking off the field to the locker room. According to Andrews, Romo left the locker room with his pads off.

It’s worth mentioning that Brandon Weeden is the only active quarterback for Sunday’s game.

Tomo, 35, is in the third year of his seven-year, $119.5 million contract that included $55 million guaranteed.

Coming into today’s game, Romo had completed 36 of 45 passing attempts for 356 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions.

We’ll have more updates regarding Romo’s injury as the news is available.
