Trade Details For 49ers’ Move Up For ILB Reuben Foster

The San Francisco 49ers traded up for the No. 31 overall pick from the Seahawks to select Alabama ILB Reuben Foster.

49ers receive:

• 2017 first-round pick (No. 31): Reuben Foster

Seahawks receive:

• 2017 second-round pick (No. 34)
  2017 fourth-round pick (No. 111)

There were rumors from a few weeks ago that the 49ers had interest in Foster if they could trade back in round one, but to get him at No. 31 overall has to feel good for San Francisco.

Foster dropped due to concerns regarding his shoulder and the fact that he produced a diluted test sample at the Combine.

Over the course of his three-year college career at Alabama, Foster recorded 211 total tackles, 23 tackles for loss, seven sacks, and nine pass defenses.
