Trade Details For Bears’ Move To Select Alabama S Eddie Jackson

The Chicago Bears traded up with the Rams in round four of the draft to select S Eddie Jackson with the No. 112 overall pick.

Bears receive:

  • 2017 fourth-round pick (No. 112): S Eddie Jackson

Rams receive:

  • 2017 fourth-round pick (No. 117): WR Josh Reynolds
  • 2017 sixth-round pick (No. 197)

Jackson began his college career at Alabama as a cornerback and started four games at the position until sustaining a torn ACL prior to the start of his sophomore season.

During his four years at Alabama, Jackson recorded 126 total tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, one sack, nine interceptions, 12 pass defenses, three fumble recoveries, two forced fumbles, and three defensive touchdowns. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 8 safety prospect in this year’s draft class and the No. 79 player overall.
