Trade Details: Ravens Trade Up For Louisville QB Lamar Jackson

Here’s the break down for the Ravens trade with the Eagles to select Louisville QB Lamar Jackson.

Ravens

  • Louisville QB Lamar Jackson, No. 32 overall pick
  • No. 131 overall pick (fifth-round.)

Eagles

  • No. 52 overall pick (second-round).
  • No. 125 overall pick (fourth-round).
  • 2019 second-round pick.

Jackson marks the fifth quarterback taken in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft.

Jackson, 21, was one of the more interesting players to watch in this year’s draft and was projected to go anywhere from the mid-first to early-second.

The Patriots reportedly had “legit interest” in Jackson, but elected to pass on him at No. 31 overall to draft Georgia RB Sony Michel.

During his three years at Louisville, Jackson threw for 9,043 yards while completing 57 percent of his passes to go along with 69 touchdowns and 27 interceptions. He also rushed for 4,132 yards and 50 touchdowns.
