After suffering what has been deemed a rib cartilage injury during Sunday’s win over the Bengals, Browns running back Trent Richardson‘s status for Week 7 is up in the air, according to Tom Reed of the Cleveland Plain-Dealer.
“Trent Richardson suffered a rib injury in the Browns’ win over Cincinnati, and his status for Sunday’s game at Indianapolis is uncertain,” Reed wrote.
It sounds as though what will ultimately decide whether or not Richardson will play Sunday against the Colts will be how much pain he can tolerate. If Richardson is unable so suit up and play Sunday, Montario Hardesty would step in as his replacement. Hardesty had 15 carries for 56 yards and touchdown on Sunday.
