“Very Possible” Adrian Peterson Could Play In Week 12 While Appealing Suspension

A source tells ESPN’s Ed Werder that depending on Shayem Dasz ruling regarding Adrian Peterson‘s suspension, it’s “very possible” he could return for Week 12’s game against the Packers.

This coincides with what Albert Breer mentioned last week, which is that Peterson could return to game action if he wins grievance and files an appeal of his suspension.

In case you missed the news from earlier in the day, the NFL announced that they have suspended Peterson for the remainder of the 2014 season. The NFLPA has wasted no time in filing an appeal of the league’s decision, which opens the door for Peterson to possibly return this weekend.

However, the Vikings have said that they stand behind the league’s ruling, even though reports from last night mentioned that they believe the public and sponsors would welcome Peterson returning to the field.

We’ll have more updates about Peterson’s appeal and status for Week 12 as the news is available.
