“I’m still working out waiting for the phone to ring,” Kuhn said Friday. “I hope its the Packers but I cant predict the future.”
All indications have been that Green Bay plans to see what second-year FB Aaron Ripkowski can do this summer before reconsidering Kuhn.
There hasn’t been very much buzz about Kuhn since free agency opened several months ago, so it could take an injury for an opportunity to surface for Kuhn.
Kuhn, 33, originally signed on with the Steelers as an undrafted free agent out of Shippensburg back in 2005. He’s spent nine of his 10 years in the NFL with the Packers and has played the past few years out on one-year contracts.
In 2015, Kuhn appeared in all 16 games and ran for 28 yards on nine carries (3.1 YPC) to go along with six receptions for 56 yards receiving and two total touchdowns.
