Veteran K Josh Scobee announced that he’ll be retiring from the NFL as a member of the Jaguars in the coming weeks.

Scobee, 34, is a former fifth-round pick of the Jaguars back in 2004. He wound up spending 11 yards in Jacksonville before he was traded to the Steelers in a deal that sent a 2016 sixth-round pick to the Jaguars last year.

Scobee lasted just over a month in Pittsburgh before he was released midseason. The Saints elected to sign him to a contract back in March of last year, but he lasted just a few months in New Orleans.

For his career, Scobee converted 241 of his 301 field goal attempts (80.1 percent) to go along with 323 of 329 extra point tries (98.2 percent) for a total of 1,046 points.
