Vikings Claim RB Mack Brown Off Waivers From Redskins, Cut Two

Adam Schefter reports that the Vikings have claimed RB Mack Brown off of waivers from the Redskins on Monday.

The Vikings will likely slot Brown in as their No. 3 running back behind Jerick McKinnon and Latavius Murray.

Brown, 26, originally signed on with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of Florida back in 2015. He lasted less than a month in Houston before signing on with the Redskins.

Brown was on and off of the Redskins’ practice squad the past two years before he was waived last week.

In 2017, Brown has appeared in three games for the Redskins and rushed for 29 yards on eight carries to go along with one reception for 11 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
