Vikings Cut WR Tavarres King & DB Horace Richardson From IR

The Minnesota Vikings officially released WR Tavarres King and DB Horace Richardson from injured reserve on Tuesday.

King, 28, is a former fifth-round pick of the Broncos back in 2013. He lasted less than a year in Denver before he was claimed off of waivers by the Panthers.

After brief stints with the Jaguars and Buccaneers, the Giants signed him to their practice squad during the 2015 season and he spent the past few years in New York.

The Vikings signed him to a contract King to a contract in April, but waived him with an injury designation and he later reverted to injured reserve.

In 2017, King appeared in eight games for the Giants and caught 18 passes for 240 yards receiving and three touchdowns.
