According to Tom Pelissero, Vikings LB Chad Greenway has agreed to reduce his 2014 salary from $6.5 million to $5.5 million to remain with the team.
- Pelissero mentions that Greenway’s 2014 salary is now fully guaranteed.
- His 2015 base salary $7 million plus a $100,000 workout bonus remains intact.
- Pelissero adds that FB Jerome Felton and S Jamarca Sanford also accepted pay cuts.
Greenway, 31, still has two years remaining on his five-year, $40.6 million contract that included $20 million guaranteed.
He appeared in all 16 games last season and totaled 134 tackles and three sacks. Pro Football Focus rated him as the second worst outside linebacker in a 4-3 defense last year.
