Vikings Now Have No Intention Of Trading Percy Harvin?

Vikings GM Rick Spielman told reports on Thursday that he has “no intention” of trading WR Percy Harvin.

Despite the constant rumors that have suggested that the Vikings could look to move Harvin now, rather than risk losing him in free agency next year, Spielman has remained adamant that Harvin will not be dealt.

Reports from around the league have indicated that the Vikings may not be able to do any better than a second or third-round pick in return for Harvin. If that’s the case, they would clearly be selling low on one of the game’s best offensive weapons.

Spielman mentioned that he hasn’t been contacted by any GMs regarding a Harvin trade since arriving in Indianapolis.

At this point in time, it seems more likely that Harvin will be back in Minnesota to start the 2013 season. A holdout is still a possibility given that Harvin is set to make $2.9 million next season, but recent reports have indicated that Harvin isn’t upset with his contract situation.
