Vikings, 49ers & Eagles In The Mix For DT Domata Peko Along With Bengals

Chris Tomasson reports that that free agent DT Domata Peko would be interested in being a rotation player for the Vikings behind Linval Joseph if reunited with HC Mike Zimmer.

  • Tomasson adds that the 49ers and Eagles are also in the mix for Peko.

Zimmer has targeted a number of his former players in free agency, so it should come as no surprise to hear that Peko could be an option for Minnesota.

Peko, 32, is a former fourth-round pick of the Bengals back in 2006. He has played his entire 11-year NFL career with the Bengals and is currently testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent.

In 2016, Peko appeared in all 16 games for the Bengals and recorded 37 tackles, no sacks, a fumble recovery and three pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 106 interior defender out of 127 qualifying players.
