Vikings Plan On Discussing A Contract Extension With HC Leslie Frazier

Minnesota Vikings owner Mark Wilf told reporters on Tuesday that they intend to discuss a contract extension with head coach Leslie Frazier at some point during the offseason.

We’re pleased with the job Leslie has done and as he mentioned we haven’t really sat down and discussed anything at this point,” said Wilf regarding a possible extension for Frazier, via ESPN 1500 Twin Cities. “But we’re pleased with the job he’s done in 2012 and we’ll address it.”

The Vikings dramatically improved from a season ago when they finished 3-13. Vikings GM Rick Spielman has been very supportive of Frazier, so it makes sense that they would prevent him from entering a lame duck season in 2013.
