Vikings Ruled Out RB Dalvin Cook For Week 7

On Friday, Vikings HC Mike Zimmer announced that RBĀ Dalvin Cook (Hamstring) is out for Week 7’s game against the Jets.

Cook was able to practice in full earlier in the week, but wound up missing Thursday’s session, which implied that he could be held out another game.

The Vikings will once again lean on Latavius MurrayĀ this weekend with Cook sidelined for another a game.

Cook, 23, is a former second-round pick of the Vikings back in 2017. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year, $6.35 million contract and set to make base salaries of $753,787 and $1.04 million over the next two years of the agreement.

In 2018, Cook has appeared in three games for the Vikings and rushed for 98 yards on 36 carries (2.7 YPC) to go along with nine receptions for 107 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
