Vikings Sign DT Travis Raciti, Cut RB Brandon Ross

The Minnesota Vikings announced Monday that they’ve signed DT Travis Raciti and placed RB Brandon Ross on waivers.

Raciti, 24, was signed with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of San Jose State back in May of last year. He was unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason, but was later signed to their practice squad.

The Eagles elected to bring Raciti back on a future/reserve contract in January before cutting him loose a few days after the draft.

During his four-year college career, Raciti recorded 186 total tackles, 27 tackles for a loss, 14.5 sacks, five pass defenses, and one fumble recovery over the course of 45 starts.
