Vikings Sign LS Kevin McDermott To Four-Year, $4M Extension

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Vikings have signed LS Kevin McDermott to a four-year, $4 million extension on Monday.

  • This will keep McDermott under team control through the 2020 season.

McDermot, 26, originally signed on with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent out of UCLA back in May of 2013. He lasted just over a year in San Francisco before he was waived at the start of the 2014 season.

After brief stints with the Broncos and Ravens, McDermott signed on with the Vikings as an unrestricted free agent last year.

In 2015, McDermott appeared in all 16 games for the Vikings.
