Vikings Sign OL Willie Beavers To Practice Squad, Release, RB Bronson Hill

The Minnesota Vikings announced Tuesday that they’ve signed OL Willie Beavers to their practice squad and release RB Bronson Hill from the unit.

The Vikings’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. DT Dylan Bradley
  2. TE Kyle Carter
  3. WR Cayleb Jones
  4. DE Ifeadi Odenigbo
  5. CB Horace Richardson
  6. OT Cedrick Lang
  7. LB Antwione Williams
  8. WR Rodney Adams
  9. C Cornelius Edison
  10. OL Willie Beavers

Beavers, 23, is a former fourth-round pick of the Vikings back in 2016. He signed a four-year, $2.87 million contract with the team but wound up being among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason.

The Vikings later signed him to their practice squad and eventually promoted him to their active roster last season. The Patriots signed him to their practice squad but released him a few weeks later.

In 2016, Beavers was active for two games.

During his college career at Western Michigan, Beavers was a three-year starter and a first-team All-MAC as a senior.
