Vikings Sign Third-Round Pick DE Scott Crichton To A Four-Year Contract

Third-round pick DE Schott Crichton announced via twitter, that he has signed a four-year contract with the the Vikings.

Crichton was at Oregon State for three seasons and was able to tally 22.5 sacks, and 51 tackles for a loss.  While Crichton was performing at the combine teams looked at him as a potential fit for a 3-4 outside linebacker due to his height of 6’3.

Minnesota really seemed to want to get younger on the defensive line, Crichton does not seem to have a starting place on the line as of now with DE Everson Griffin and Anthony Barr currently penciled in.
