ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Vikings are signing former 49ers OL Alex Boone to a contract.
Boone, 28, played out his five-year, $7.450 million contract that included $2.24 million guaranteed and was among the best available interior offensive linemen in this year’s free agent class.
In 2015, Boone appeared in 13 games and was rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 33 guard out of 82 qualifying players.
