Vikings Waive Four Players

The Minnesota Vikings announced that they have waived LB Terrell Manning, RB Bradley Randle, G Josh Samuda, and LB Simoni Lawrence on Tuesday.

Manning, 23, was claimed off of waivers from the Chargers a little less than a month ago. This is the third time he has been waived since the Packers used a fifth-round pick on him back in 2012.

Last year, he appeared in just one game for the Chargers and didn’t record and stats.

Randle, 23, signed with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent last year, but only lasted until August before being released. He would later sign on to the team’s practice squad in December.

Samuda, 25, originally signed on with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent out of Massachusetts in 2012. He spent one year with the team before being waived at the start of the 2013 season. The Vikings signed him to a future/reserve contract in January.

Lawrence, 25, signed with the Rams as an undrafted free agent out of Minnesota back in 2010. The Vikings signed him to a three-year contract that included a $10,000 signing bonus guaranteed a few months ago.
