Vikings Waive K Daniel Carlson

Tom Pelissero of NFL Media reports that the Vikings have placed rookie K Daniel Carlson on waivers Monday after he missed three field goals against the Packers.

Carlson will reportedly be replaced by former Cowboys K Dan Bailey.

Carlson, 23, was selected in the fifth round of this year’s draft by the Vikings. He’s currently in the first year of his four-year rookie contract.

In 2018, Carlson has appeared in two games and converted one of four field goal attempts all six of his extra point tries.
